SAMUEL ADAMS

IMG_7869Samuel Adams was a very important man to the American Revolution.  Sam was born September 27 1722 in Boston Massachusetts. Sam’s parents were Mary Adams and Sam Adams senior. Mary Adams and Sam Adams senior came aboard  John Winthrop’s ship he borrowed from England but he thought so after he thought  he said “ I’m going to keep it for my colonists”. So Mary Adams had her baby in Boston named Samuel Adams.

Sam loved to learn in his school years and after life.  He learned to read from his mother Mary. Samuel Adams got his religion from his parents. Sam got his masters degree in 1743,loved to learn about politics.  

Sam was in the Boston Massacre it was horrible the colonists were starting to call the lobster backs bloody backs and started throwing snowballs with rocks in them, the red coats were told not to fire then someone fired killing a free slave named Crispus Attucks. Another thing Sam was involved in is called Boston tea party the sons of liberty Sam Adams his friend Paul Revere John Hancock  they decided to dump the tea. The red coats came after Sam Adams and John Hancock  while Paul Revere was at his house looking at lanterns shone by Robert Newman. Then Paul knew what it meant one if by land  ,two if by sea so he got on his horse so he went to Sam Adams and john Hancock and said “ the regulars are coming the regulars are coming.

“Now I’m old Washington let me fight the war ,well I don’t want you to get hurt, I don’t care if I die I just want to do it while fighting for My colonies.” Sam died October 2,1803 Cambridge Massachusetts.

Cheerleading

This summer I will be signing up for cheerleading. I am really excited because this is my first year doing cheerleading. I hope I will have fun. I am looking forward to go to football games, getting to travel to different states like Rhode Island, Florida, and a town called Mashpee. Also we get to do competitions  and other fun things. I am signing up for the Spartans. The Spartan and some family members get free food. This is going to be fun.

Dr. Neena Visits

 Dr. Neena comes in to teach us about the human body. She taught us about the brain, the heart, and the digestive system. Her previous visit was when she taught us about the digestive system. She taught us about the esophagus, the stomach, the liver, the small intestine, the large intestine, and the anus. The brain sends messages to the spinal cord back and forth. And last but not least, the heart. The heart pumps blood through the body and has 4 chambers. The right ventricle, the left ventricle, the right atrium, and the left atrium.

Reflex Fun!

Team Freeman uses Reflex math to learn and have fun. They play mini games with math added to it. They have to play one or two mini games to earn their island pass. They pick a game and they do their picture puzzle. They have to do two picture puzzles to get to your game. If you’re doing ninja to the stars you have to jump on the branches and not fall. If you’re playing WindRider you have to keep your air-balloon up off the ground and keep it day. When you play a game for while you get a green light. There are games for you to play and earn coins. Here are all the games Kiree, ninja to the starsice cream sundae quick slitherfizz heads, block bot, wind riderswamp chomper, Egyptian conniption. This is Team Freeman´s love of Reflex math.

Khan Academy Helpful Math Website

Khan academy is a helpful math website for grades kindergarten up to 12th grade. It is a great learning program for ages 6 and up to 16. Matthew said’’ that you can go on khan academy anytime you want if you have wifi’’. Jamie says”it is helpful to kids like third graders and fourth graders and below. Khan academy is a helpful learning program for kids.

Junior Achievement with Mrs. Cline

IMG_7826Mrs.Cline comes in every Thursday to teach us about different stuff like money and how to run a business. She also comes in to teach us about debit cards and credit cards. We have done a bunch of activities like we get to invent our own restaurant. Team Freeman gets to learn about bank accounts and how to save money. Tomorrow is her last day here at teaticket school. Team Freeman really enjoyed junior achievement. Also she comes in and we get to do fun things every time.

Paul Revere

Paul Revere was a very import person in the american  Revolution. Paul Revere was born on January 1, 1735. He was born in boston massachusetts. He lived with his 7 siblings and mother and father  Paul Revere was most famous for his midnight ride .But you may not of known he was a part of a secret group of Patriots . But Paul Revere did not ride alone he rode with Samuel Prescott and William Dawes  however Paul never made it to concord he was arrested by a british patrol guards .William and Samuel managed to get away from the ambush later on William was thrown of his horse and limped  home Samuel made it to Concord unharmed and finished the mission . Paul  thought quick and told the guards a bunch of  Patriots were coming to get the guards  they may have taken his horse but they let him go he ran to a secret Sons of LIberty hide out and took  a chest and ran and hid it . Then Paul Revere got married to Sarah Orne . they had  8 children .but during winter 2 died. Sarah died in 1773. Then Paul remarried  he married Rachel Walker  they had 10 children .
